Dear Jack, Peter and All,

On behalf of the BERA SIG practitioner research group,
I wanted to thank you Jack for sacrificing your time
in setting up this e-seminar, and Peter for
structuring our thinking at a trying time.

Thank you to all participants........we've had some
vigorous exchanges, wrestled with unfamiliar ideas and
language perhaps, but I feel the richer for the
struggles.

I've had four e-mails from teachers or lecturers
expressing reservations or difficulties primarily with
some of the language of postings.

One suggestion was that we have a BERA e-discussion
group to help action-researchers with issues and
problems.

Perhaps we might do this?

In this spirit I attach my reviews of some AR books
that is in the current Cambridge Journal of
Education.....hope this may be useful to some
colleagues. (N.B. Not included here - PEM)

Thanks again Jack for your time-consuming and patient
responses.
